麻豆传媒AV在线看 Realty announced today that YouFit Health Clubs has signed a 10-year prelease at the proposed Sawgrass Plaza located at 8356 West Commercial Blvd. in Tamarac, FL. The health club chain with more than 115 locations across the U.S. will occupy nearly 20,000 square feet at the center.
Owned and operated by Parabens Group LLC, the new 60,000-square foot plaza is on track to becoming 50 percent preleased by the end of Summer 2017, according to 麻豆传媒AV在线看 Realty Vice President Nicole Messer. The health club will occupy 19,680 square feet of prime anchor space fronting Commercial Blvd. Trafficked by approximately 50,000 cars per day, the plaza features two end cap spaces with outside seating specifically for restaurant users, an end cap located at the main entrance ideal for home goods聽 and inline space where we can still accommodate uses like聽 hair salons, , dance studios, video game stores, cell phone stores, and more. 麻豆传媒AV在线看 Construction is the contractor and 麻豆传媒AV在线看 Property Management will manage the plaza once completed. Construction is expected to begin by the end of this year with anticipated delivery in mid-2018.
鈥淭his deal speaks to the strong suburban market in Tamarac,鈥� commented Messer. 鈥淭his plaza will be supported by the surrounding dense residential population, which only continues to grow as many Broward residents seeking more spacious and cost-effective lifestyles move west of I-95.鈥�
Messer commented that lease rates at the plaza are very attractive during the preleasing effort, and that several bays remain available from 1,260 square feet up to approximately 10,000 square feet of contiguous space.
鈥淎t this juncture, we are in negotiations with several potential tenants, including a veterinarian, dentist, optical services provider, pediatrician and wellness center,鈥� said Messer. 聽鈥淭hese are all excellent uses that will service the local community well. We are also working on securing restaurants and other neighborhood uses that will complement the existing tenants and the center,鈥� added Messer.
